L’art

«L’art véritable n’est pas un loisir, c’est une nécessité.

Il ne se pratique pas dans l’allégresse et la légèreté car il porte toujours le poids de l’impératif, la charge de ce qui doit se manifester.

Etre artiste n’est pas un choix, c’est un appel que l’on suit au risque de sa vie intérieure et parfois extérieure.

On sait que l’on crée de l’art quand il contient en même temps les souffrances et les joies de notre vie terrestre, le vécu personnel et l’appartenance universelle à cette force que l’on nomme Vie.»

It is not practiced in joy and lightness because it always carries the weight of the imperative, the burden of what must be manifested out in this world.

Being an artist is not a choice, it is a call that we follow at the risk of our inner and sometimes outer life.

We know that we create art when it contains at the same time the sufferings and the joys of our earthly life, the personal experience and the universal membership of this force that we call Life.
